AMAC 2005

MATON @ THE AUSTRALIAN MUSIC ASSOCIATION CONVENTION 2005

Maton had an extremely successful AMAC on September 10 through 12 and saw the launch of the following guitars...

The Mini-Maton
(including the Diesel Special)
  The Maton Bass prototype
(anticipated full scale production in late November)
Upgrades to the M225, M325 and CW80 range
Long scale versions of the complete Mastersound range

AMAC also saw the official launch of our “Custom Shop”. We displayed 13 of our beautiful Custom Shop guitars and they were extremely well received by all our visitors. Andy Allen was on hand to talk everyone through the intricate details of the timbers and workmanship on these. Our paint Shop supervisor Richie Stamatis was also on hand to explain all the finishes and the way in which our guitars are presented. These 2 guys also held a very well received clinic on the Sunday at which all our retailers gained a more detailed understanding our history, product and workmanship.

The below is just a quick little bit of feedback from one our visitors over the weekend.

“The new custom shop guitars we received today far exceeded our expectations of the ultimate guitar. If nothing else the trip from TOOWOOMBA to attend AMAC on the Sunday was worth it just to see you all. The BEST people building the BEST guitars in the BEST country in the world! My utmost appreciation goes to you all for your work.”
