Keith Urban has won his 2nd Grammy Award last night beating artists including Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson to take "Best Male Country Vocal Performance".

"Winning this particular Grammy in light of the crazy way last year started is all the more sweet. I am so grateful that I can hardly put it into words. It's especially moving to be recognized among such a mighty group of fellow nominees this year..."

Those that visit our web site regularly, would already know that John Fogerty is an admirer and proud owner of several Maton Guitars.  

As he is so aptly described in Harold Steinblatt's interview for Guitar World, John Fogerty is without a doubt the King of Swamp Rock.  He is the creative genius and unmistakable voice behind Creedence Clearwater Revival, and his contribution as a song writer is legendary.

Maton would like to congratulate Lee Kernaghan as the recipient of the 2008 "Australian of the Year" award which was presented to to Lee yesterday at a ceremony in front of Parliament House, Canberra.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd praised Lee as "...an Australian to make us all proud; you would have to travel a long way to find a better, more genuine bloke than Lee."

Lee Kernaghan, country's favourite son, has been tipped as the favourite to take out next year's Australian of the Year Award.
